Honda prices 2014 Odyssey minivan
Tue, 25 Jun 2013The 2014 Honda Odyssey minivan will start at $29,655 including destination when it hits dealerships in July. The upper echelon family hauler will sport a six-speed automatic -- replacing the five-speed -- and 3.5-liter V6 making 248 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque. Fuel mileage is up to 19 mpg in the city and 28 on the highway in part because of Honda’s Variable Cylinder Management.
Porsche threatens to pull Boxster production from Magna
Fri, 25 Sep 2009Porsche is considering canceling an existing contract with Magna to build the next-generation Boxster and Cayman in Austria starting in 2013 and may instead move production to Karmann in Germany. The move would be aimed at protecting Porsche's closely guarded engineering and production cost secrets for its upcoming entry-level roadster and coupe. Porsche insiders say plans established under former boss Wendelin Weideking to build the Boxster and the Cayman at Magna's Graz factory in Austria are now being heavily reviewed following the Canadian/Austrian company's bid to take control of financially embattled Opel from General Motors.

Thu, 08 Aug 2013Chrysler has announced the gasoline-powered 2014 Ram 1500 and 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel tow ratings. The 305-hp Pentastar V6 can handle up to 7,450 lbs. Ram calls this performance “class-leading,” but there's a catch: If the consumer compares the base-level versions of the Ford F-150, GMC Sierra 1500 the Ram 1500 then it is true that the Ram 1500 edges out the competition.
