Despite all 911s looking much the same to all but the Porsche nutter, there’s a choice of at least a hundred different models (well, it feels like it when you try to decide), from the pure 911 Carrera 2 on up to the Turbo Cab and all the bonkers ‘Track’ 911s – the GT this and the RS that. We have video of the new McLaren P1 taking on the Top Gear track at Dunsfold in the hands of McLaren’s F1 driver Sergio Perez. We reported from Geneva that Ron Dennis has declared he put the new McLaren P1 round Top Gear’s Dunsfold track a full 10 seconds quicker than the contentious Top Gear lap time set by the Pagani Huayra. So when McLaren sent us a video that declared their new F1 driver, Sergio Perez, had taken the P1 round Dunsfold – and here is the video – we though we might get a proper insight in to just how quick the P1 is.

And now we know how much the Nissan Pulsar will cost, what its engines will be and what trim options will be available. The new Pulsar will go on sale in t he Autumn in the UK with a choice of two engines – the 1.2 litre DIG-T 115 petrol and the 1.5 litre dCi 110 diesel – and a choice of four trim levels - Visia, Acenta, n-tec and Tekna – although there will doubtless be more engine, and trim, options available after launch including a 190PS 1.6 litre turbo petrol.
