UP FOR AUCTION IS THIS LOT OF 9 **NOS** DORMAN COPPER ENGINE EXPANSION PLUGS. THEY ARE SIX 1 3/4" DC-11, TWO 1 1/2" DC-10, AND ONE 1 5/8" DC-9. I FOUND THESE WHILE CLEANING OUT MY FATHER'S GARAGE. THEY ALL LOOK TO BE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, THE PLUG MARKED 1 5/8" IS MISSING THE NUT. PLEASE MAKE SURE OF YOUR APPLICATION BE FOR BIDDING, AS THIS IS BEING SOLD AS IS.

Supported by Adolf Hitler's Nazi government, the two brands had grander plans to demonstrate Germany's technological supremacy. In August 1936, Auto Union engineer Ferdinand Porsche and race car driver Hans Stuck approached Wilhelm Kissel, chairman of Daimler-Benz, and presented a plan to build a car that would set a new land speed world record.
