Auctioning here an entire lot of used OEM VW beige / tan interior parts for MK4 Jetta / Golf. Auction is for the entire lot consisting of two rear C-pillar lower wheel arch trim panels (for driver side and for passenger side), two B-pillar lower plastic trim panels, two driver side knee bolster panels (that go under the steering wheel), driver side and passenger side lower kick panels, and the older style (early VIN) rear center console. All of the parts are in good used condition. Only the passenger side B-pillar lower trim is missing one of the mounting plastic tabs (pics 2 & 3) and the knee bolster panels have blemished (but perfectly functioning) tabs - the left side knee bolster panel in particular (pics 4 & 5), although perfectly functioning and mountable as is, with the right side having only a minor crack in the tab surround which doesn't affect the mounting and retaining whatsoever (please see detailed pics 6 & 7). There are minor signs of wear (a few scratches here and there), otherwise panels just need a good cleaning. I have listed each of these interior parts and trim pieces in separate auctions but some have expressed interests in purchasing the entire lot at a more attractive "packaged" (i.e. discounted) deal with a much cheaper combined shipping.
It is up to the buyer to confirm fitment and any other application other than in an Mk4 Jetta or Golf, which will be at the buyer's sole risk. Buyer to verify compatibility as sale is final with no returns!

Trim pieces are big in size and with the extra cushioning the resulting package (although not heavy) will be even bigger in size; depending on location it will cost at least $48 to ship, and this is without the cost of packaging materials, so I'll be absorbing some cost on shipping after all. If shipping will be less than what is quoted here I'll refund the difference.

Porsche Steps Up Vintage Motorsports Activities
Sat, 18 Aug 2012With the famed Monterey Motorsports Reunion as backdrop, Porsche Motorsport North America (PMNA) announced Saturday it will expand from serving teams and owners of contemporary 911 race cars to providing a similar service to the large number of collectors of vintage Porsche race cars in the United States and Canada. PMNA has established a partnership with a new historic motorsports department that is now being established within Porsche AG's Motorsport Division in Weissach, Germany. The new department will provide expert restoration services to the Porsche Museum for many of the vintage competition cars the company owns well beyond the ones displayed in its riveting exhibition center.
Lexus prices RX 450h hybrid ute, IS convertible

The zero-emissions Peugeot i0n (combines a zero with ions, geddit?) will go on sale at the end of 2010 and builds on the French company’s expertise with EVs stretching all the way back to 1995 when it launched the 106 Electric. It’ll go 80 miles on one charge of the lithium ion battery, making it ideal for urban commuting and short shuttles, says Peugeot.
