Lotus Esprit Turbo Transmission Transaxle.(also Maserati Merak And Citroen Sm) on 2040-parts.com
Seattle, Washington, United States
Lotus Esprit transmission/transaxle from 1988 Turbo with 56,000 miles. This is the citroen sourced transaxle that came on Esprits up until 1989. Runs and shifts fine but befote going into a car it should be thoroughly checked by a transmission specialist who knows something about these transmissions. The citroen transmission is not very strong so they need to be maintained. This means when they're out of the car you take them in for a good going through to check bearings, synchros, etc. Again, do it right and have the transmission maintained and checked out. This transaxle was also installed in the Maserati Merak and Citroen SM, but please check your application to make sure it's right for you. If interested, please contact me through ebay. Thanks Please note: this transaxle should ship OK through UPS. Shipping rom Seattle (when I am located) to the east coast will be a couple hundred bucks or so. Buyer pays for shipping costs. |

Fri, 06 Sep 2013With Volvo beginning a new chapter in its design history with the Concept Coupé, it's interesting to look back at another Volvo coupé concept from 1979 – the Tundra.
