Honda reveals ‘Forza’ design contest winner in Chicago

Honda teamed up with “Forza Motorsport” to reveal the winning entry in the “Forza Motorsport” Civic Si Design Contest at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show on Friday. The winner was Tiffany Labedz of Phoenix, who beat out 17,000 other members of the Xbox “Forza” community. "At Honda, we love meeting our customers where their passion lies, and the racing and custom car design in ‘Forza Motorsport’ is definitely a passion for so many Honda and Civic enthusiasts," said Tom Peyton, Honda’s assistant vice president of advertising.

Changan opens new European Designing Center in Turin

Changan celebrated the opening of its European Designing Center in Turin, Italy, last week as part of its celebration of the historic company's 150th anniversary. An audience of VIP guests and press were given grand tour of the new facility located in Rivoli near Turin after an opening ceremony filled with the pomp and pageantry we've come to expect from the Chinese car industry. The new 11,000 square meter European Designing Center is Changan's latest move to grow its business globally, having already established research and development centers at five Chinese locations as well as in Detroit USA, Nottingham UK, and Yokohama Japan.

Range Rover Evoque by Project Kahn Project Kahn has revealed their take on the Range Rover Evoque, with a cosmetic treatment but no Cosworth power boost. Over a year ago – before the Range Rover Evoque started to hit the roads – Bradford car customiser Project Kahn revealed their take on the Evoque complete with unspecified Cosworth power upgrades. But that idea seems not to have borne fruit, and instead we get an Evoque from Kahn with a purely cosmetic take on Land Rover’s new baby.
