I am parting out a 20hp Mercury Outboard.  Serial number on the transom mounting bracket is 7183895.  Serial number on the powerhead is 7202509.  I contacted Mercury, who advised this was a 1981-1985 20hp Mercury Outboard, most likely a 1983 model.  Parts from this motor may fit many 18, 20 and 25 hp early 80s Mercury outboards.

This is a buy it now for the complete long shaft lower unit.  When the oil was drained, it had no sign of water intrusion.  The lower unit moves in and out of gear properly.  The rubber grommet for the water tube requires replacement.

Shipping will be a flat rate of $40, anywhere in Canada or the United States.

It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that this part will fit their motor.
