In my little corner of the world , I don't have anyone I can take this to to identify it .  I bought it at an estate auction and probably paid too much for it .  Starting bid will be way below what I paid .  The best I could do was take it up the street to another old fart [as I am ] who works on Lawn Boys once in a while and very rarely a boat motor .  In his opinion it is for a high speed racing boat .  He thought it to be operational .  Both shafts turn when you spin one or the other .  It has a very small nick in the end of the " torpedo " that I tried to show in the last pick .  I assume it is used .  I'm sorry but I have to sell this AS IS because of my limited knowledge of this.  If anyone can help on the identification of this , please do .  Thanks for looking .
