For auction is a used lower unit for a V-6 Mercury outboard motor. Came from a 175 HP motor from about 1985 but should fit most of the V-6 motors. It is an extra long shaft to fit a 25 " transom. All the shafts turn smoothly and it shifts properly. No sign of metal or water in the lube. All fresh water use no corrosion. Includes the extension housing, long bolts and upper shift rod so if you want to convert you long shaft motor to an extra long, this is what you need. Should work fine. In fact, when Peugeot announced prices for the 2008 and their UK target sales of 8,000 a year, we thought they were being conservative with their projections, especially as the 2008 starts at a very reasonable £13k. That soon proved to be right when Peugeot announced it was having to double production of the 2008 as sales were much stronger across Europe than they’d anticipated, and it seems the same is happening in the UK.
