The LS series engine OEM crankshafts and crank harmonic balancer pulleys are not designed with a keyway. Often after reassembly the crank harmonic balancer pulley will rotate on the crank and work it self loose. See pictures for simple install. Drill parellel to the axis of the crank. Crank Pulley Pin/drill kit will prevent that common problem.
Kit comes with 3 pins. Only one is needed per vehicle. But tool allows for 2 pins to be drilled.
