New fuel filter swap kit for LSx based engine swaps.  This kit allows simple integration of the single feed LS1, LS2, LS6, LS3, LS7 fuel rail systems with a conventional fuel pump without having to use any expensive regulators.  Fuel filter has 3 ports: inlet from fuel tank, return outlet back to tank, and outlet feed to fuel rail.  Fuel filter has built in regulator (stock LSx based fuel pressure of approx 58 PSI) and includes mount bracket.  Kit includes the following items:

  • Fuel filter with built in regulator and mounting bracket
  • AN6 fuel filter outlet fitting (fuel feed to fuel rail)
  • AN6 BLACK fuel filter inlet fitting (fuel inlet from gas tank)
  • AN6 BLACK fuel filter outlet fitting (fuel return back to tank)

Nearly 20 years after Lee Iacocca retired--and 45 years after he helped launch America's first pony car--the former Ford and Chrysler exec is attaching his visage to this: the Iacocca Silver 45th Anniversary Edition Ford Mustang. Planned for a limited run of only 45 units, the "I" edition features 5 hp more than stock from the Ford 4.6-liter V8; a 400-hp supercharged version is optional. Ford Racing suspension is standard, while 14-inch Ford Racing brakes are optional.

Who's Where: Jason Castriota joins Stile Bertone

Contrary to what was previously disclosed, Car Design News has now confirmed that Jason Castriota, who left his position at Pininfarina on the eve of the Paris Motor Show in September, is set to become Design Director at Stile Bertone. He will start his new position on December 1. Castriota had initially intended to set up his own design consultancy before being approached by Bertone.

First Sight: Fenomenon Stratos

The Geneva Show sees a surprising newcomer to its stands in the shape of Fenomemon Ltd and their concept Stratos project. This new London-based vehicle design agency is led by a current student on the Royal College of Art's Vehicle Design course, Chris Hrabalek, who has masterminded a complete full-size mockup of a reborn Lancia Stratos concept for this year's Geneva Show. In a world where multinational companies spend several million dollars on a concept car and stand, that's a phenomenal achievement.
