Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept
Wed, 26 Sep 2012This is the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept – a Porsche Panamara Shooting Brake Hybrid – headed for a Paris 2012 debut. There have been rumours for some time that Porsche was going to build a shooting brake version of the Panamera -we reported it would be at Paris 2012 back in July – and on the eve of the Paris Motor Show we get the proof – the first photos of the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept. The Panamera Sport looks like it’s got some sort of hybrid powertrain, although we have no details yet from Porsche.
Kia to show KND-7 concept at CES in Las Vegas

And for the 2014 edition of the massive show, Kia will bring their KND-7 concept. The KND-7 features a 1.6-liter turbocharged GDI (gasoline direct injection) four-cylinder engine good for 201-hp, along with cheeky exterior design.
Japan Car: Designs for a Crowded Globe
Thu, 04 Dec 2008The Science Museum in London, UK is hosting the Japan Car: Designs for the Crowed Globe exhibition, sponsored by seven Japanese automobile manufacturers. An exploration of the car as a 'mobile cell', the exhibition has been conceived by graphic designer Kenya Hara and architect Shigeru Ban to show how Japanese design reflects the 'soil and spirit' of Japan, depicted by concept cars and models specific to the Japanese market. Speaking to Car Design News, Shigeru Ban explained how the automobile was chosen as the central element to the exhibition because it is a reflection of Japanese culture and tradition.
