This magneto is from an engine that has been sitting a long time. i was able to open it up and clean it up a little bit, but it needs a complete rebuild. threads and taper on shaft are in excellent condition. got most of the rust off/out of it. missing one pick-up, but everything else is there.

Sandy's toll: 15,000 cars and counting
Thu, 08 Nov 2012The damage tally from Superstorm Sandy continues to roll in. The latest estimate is that Toyota, Chrysler, Nissan and Honda plan to scrap 15,000 new cars damaged. The National Automotive Dealers Association says that number could grow to 200,000 cars.

Chrysler announces minivan recall for bearing and hub problem
Mon, 09 Apr 2012The Chrysler Group is voluntarily recalling a small number of 2012 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Caravan minivans. The company says that some vehicles might be equipped with hub and bearing assemblies that were not fully machined, which could make them less durable. If the parts fail wheel separation could occur, possibly leading to a crash.
