    This auction is for a HARD TO FIND REBUILT TWO SPEED 6WA MODEL WIPER MOTOR for the LATE 1966-1968 SUNBEAM ALPINE & TIGER MODELS.  IF YOU ARE RESTORING ONE OF THESE BRITISH CLASSICS  THIS IS THE REAL DEAL TO KEEP IT MORE AUTHENTIC.

     This 75552 LUCAS motor has been completely RESTORED. We replace the brushes, glass bead clean the case and resprayed it with the original  BLACK  WRINKLE FINISH or GREY HAMMERTONE, the armature is tested and rewound if necessary, the fields are tested and replaced if defective. We polished the dated ID PLATE, REPLACE THE HARNESS WITH A NEW PROPER COLOUR-CODED CLOTH COVERED LOOM  and bench test the finished assembly.
     
     All of our rebuilt wiper motors come with a 12 month replacement warranty.  AS WITH ALL OF OUR REBUILDS THIS ONE REQUIRES THAT A MATCHING OLD UNIT (CORE) BE TURNED IN OR A $100.00 CORE DEPOSIT BE LEFT BEFORE WE SHIP. We are always interested in buying old wiper motor and water pump cores.

Richard Hammond drives the Mercedes G 63 AMG 6×6 on tonight’s Top Gear Believe it or not, tonight’s episode of Top Gear – episode 3 of series 21 – see us already more than half way through the new series. So far we’ve had a bit of a poor opening episode, a cracking second episode with the McLaren P1 and Alfa 4C and a so-so third in the series with the seemingly fragile Zenvo ST1 and a road trip to the Ukraine in small hatches. But tonight’s  episode looks very promising with a bonkers SUV from Mercedes, a custom-built Alfa from Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera and a pair of Caterhams – one from each end of the Caterham range.

Seems like the Mercedes-Benz design department is bulking up on new talent. Karim Habib, the exterior designer of the new BMW 7-series, has been lured to Mercedes-Benz where he will head up the advanced design studio on the outskirts of Stuttgart, Germany. Habib will work under Mercedes-Benz's new design boss, Gorden Wagener.
