Used points plate removed from a 650cc T120R 1967 Triumph. Appears to be in good used condition. Number 47651A. There is a break in wiring cover about 3" from plate, wires appear okay. Inv # 6795
My items up for auction are from the inventory of a Triumph shop that closed in the early 1980's. It specialized in 1960's, 1970's and early 1980's Triumphs. Tue, 18 Jun 2013Fully autonomous cars will challenge everything we know about car design to date, according to industry experts at the Michelin Challenge Design-hosted Automotive Press Association (APA) Design Panel. The APA members-only event, held at the Detroit Athletic Club, carried the theme of 'Driven/Undriven: The Duality of Tomorrow's Automobile' – the subject of this year's Michelin Challenge Design – and explored the design challenges and opportunities that will arise with the advent of autonomous vehicles. The APA Design Panel consisted of Jim Hall of 2953 Analytics, Chris Borroni-Bird, vice president of Strategic Development at Qualcomm and author of Reinventing the Automobile: Personal Urban Mobility of the 21st Century as well as Stewart Reed, chair of the Transportation Design course at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
Gibbs launches new high-speed amphibian vehicles
Wed, 08 Feb 2012Michigan-based Gibbs Technologies has released two new high-speed, commercial-grade amphibian vehicles, named the Phibian and the Humdinga. The Phibian is a 30-foot-long, nearly 12-foot-tall craft capable of highway speeds on land and more than 30 mph (26 knots) in the water. Constructed mainly of carbon fiber, the Phibian can hold up to 15 people, including a crew of three.

It IS the Pagani Huayra We’ve had a little blat of activity over the last week or so on the replacement for the Pagani Zonda – the car we have known until recently only by its Pagani codename – the Pagani C9. Yesterday we ran a story that reported Pagani registering the name Pagani Huayra with EU trademark agencies, which we thought may point to the name for the C9.
