NEW Lucas Complete Windshield Wiper Assembly kit With Washer for AC Shelby Cobra Kit Cars and other Replicas.

I end up importing several wiper kits from UK after trying FFR, Finnish line and few other kits. All the domestically available kits I have purchased and promptly returned were of very poor quality with most of the components if not all made in Asia. They were barely sufficient to pass inspection test and nothing else.

All British parts here, visible bits mostly stainless steel and heavy chrome. Motor gear is reversible and is 105 degrees. Stainless Tex wiper arms are inch or so longer so they can
be bent/reshaped and trimmed to fit the desired contour(dont forget to heat up the stem a bit before bending and then drill a small hole on a tip of it so it locks the wiper).

I will furnish several detailed links on how to assemble this kit.

As for windshield washer sub kit, I decided to use two position pump switch instead of momentary for two reasons. Generally available glass is not of the best quality and should not
be wiped dry, secondly operating two switches while driving this beasts can be rather consuming. Operational sequence: Pump on/ wiper on/ pump off/ wiper off.

Suzuki iV-4 concept (2013) at Frankfurt motor show

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

The Suzuki iV-4 – and the production-ready SUV it previews – reveal Suzuki’s plan to marry two of the most popular recent automotive trends: customisable small cars and trendy urban compact crossovers. What’s the Suzuki iV-4’s name all about? A lower case ‘i’ has become a modern naming cliché thanks to Apple, but here it stands for ‘individuality – a nod to the iV-4 concept's potential for personalisation.

McLaren P1 gets 903bhp

Wed, 20 Feb 2013

McLaren has revealed that their new supercar – the McLaren P1 – will deliver 903bhp and have emissions below 200g/km. The McLaren P1 will get 727bhp from its 3.8 litre V8 with an additional 176bhp coming from an electric motor for a combined power delivery of 903bhp, with the V8 contributing 531lb/ft of torque and the electric motor an instant 192lb/ft for a combined torque of 664lb/ft at 4000rpm. The boost from the electric motor is instantly available at the flick of a button on the steering wheel – McLaren call it Instant Power Assist System (IPAS) – which instantly throws more additional power to aid the McLaren’s V8 than a pair of Fiestas can manage.
