Luggage rack that would clamp on running board to hold luggage, picnic basket or other parcel on the running board & make more room inside the old car. This is an original item. Used & been stored away for years. Measures 34 inches long & 12 inches high when fully expanded. Attaches to running board with 2 secure clamps. In good condition for age; not broken; expands & retracts easily. Surface is roughened over the years; would probably want to re-paint before the next show. Wed, 09 Sep 2009The Mercedes S500 Hybrid Plug-In will show at Frankfurt Update: Mercedes has now confirmed our S500 Hybrid story and we have images of the S500 hybrid at the bottom of the page The S500 Vision will feature a V6 petrol engine paired with a 10kw lithium-ion battery pack and a 44kw motor. This combination will allow the hybrid Mercedes to travel over 18 miles on battery power alone. When the battery discharges the electric motor will power up the petrol engine.

Fri, 21 Feb 2014NOT ENOUGH new cars in Europe are being specified with an electronic stability programme (ESP) that is proved to be most important safety system in prevent collisions. Research by Frost and Sullivan has found Europe is lagging behind North America, where there is almost 100% success with fitting news cars with ESP. Despite ESP being included in the European New Car Assessment Programme since 2011, the study shows there has been only a minimal increase in the number of cars sold that have ESP.

Though the 3 is more likely to draw in penny-pinching pensioners, given that MG’s past that is rather more evoctive than its present.
