For sale is a LYCOMING 0-540-A1A5 engine, Serial No. L-1693-40, 250hp that was removed from a 1959 Piper Comanche PA24-250.  This engine has 5005.17 total hours and 1096.95 hours SMOH. This engine was overall well maintained with all annual inspections and oil changes. Last compression numbers were 74, 77, 75, 74, 73, 74 over 80.

This sale includes all accessories: carburetor, alternator, starter, magnetos (6350 & 6355), flywheel, oil cooler, oil-air separator, Riff oil pan heating element, baffling, McCauley prop governor and exhaust system. 

This engine did suffer a low power prop strike when the pilot forgot to put down the landing gears before landing on the runway causing a prop strike.  The crank was dialed and it shows no sign of it being bent.  There was no damage to the engine or any of the accessories. The tip of the exhaust did receive minor damage.

Logbooks are included with the sale.

This engine will be shipped at a cost of $400.00 to the lower 48 states. Local pickup is welcomed.  Please allow up to 3 business days for engine to be shipped.

A $500.00 deposit through Paypal is required.

A 1938 Bugatti 57C of the Off Brothers Collection of Richland, Mich., and a 1962 Ferrari 330 LM owned by Jim Jaeger of Cincinnati, Ohio, were named Best in Show winners on Sunday at the 17th-annual Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance in Amelia Island, Fla. Amelia gives two Best in Show awards, one for elegance and one for sport.

The Bolt Gold Nissan GT-R, autographed by Olympic champion Usain Bolt, sold for $187,100 at an eBay auction. All proceeds will be donated to the Usain Bolt Foundation, which helps create educational and cultural opportunities for young people in Jamaica. More than 100 people competed for the other items crossing the block, including racing helmets, special driving suits and boots, which brought $6,091 more.
