Renault to preview future design strategy with Ross Lovegrove

Renault will unveil a new concept car that will underline its future design direction at next month's Triennale of Milan. The carmaker, which has released a set of teaser images, has worked alongside designer Ross Lovegrove's Lovegrove Studio to explore fresh design languages. Lovegrove is known for his organically inspired designs and this concept will continue that theme, examining nature and its systems to raise "awareness and understanding of those phenomena and their current impact".

We’re big fans of the Citroen DS3, and the DS3 Cabrio manages to be something most cabrios aren’t – as good to look at as their coupe siblings. So the news that Citroen has decided to fill a niche in the DS3 range by taking the extreme DS3 – the DS3 Racing – and blending it with the cabrio to create the DS3 Cabrio Racing should come as no surprise.

LUXURY car maker Jaguar has released a teaser picture of its next new model, in advance of a full reveal later this year. Positioned below the firm's mid-size XF, the new XE is expected to do battle with the likes of BMW's 3 Series, Audi's A4 and Mercedes' C-Class. Industry experts are predicting a sub £30,000 entry price for the XE, which will be powered by a new range of Jaguar designed and built engines.
