I believe this is to be a new old stock crankshaft assembly, but since I have no other records than the Maintenance release tag, I am selling it as used.

Up for auction is a new old stock crankshaft assembly LW 12174 complete with counterweights. The crankshaft alone is  P/N  LW 12172. This is for the Turbo 0-360 Lycoming with the big mains.

It is a very hefty crankshaft.

The mains and rod journals are standard and looks like no wear on it, but I'm selling it as used because I have no further information with it.

It was inspected and certified Sept 2013. previous certification was 1983.

This crankshaft was inspected and certified in 1983 and then coated with corrosion proofing It was re-inspected and  re-certified in 2013.

The Canadian Maintenance Release (certification tag)  is  shown.

Volkswagen has revealed the first details of its seventh-generation Golf--including a classy new interior--at a heavily cloaked press event ahead of the car's official unveiling in September in Berlin. The Golf, VW's perennial best seller, has raked in worldwide sales of more 29 million cars over 38 years of production. The new model, which is described as being up to 23 percent more economical than its predecessor, is planned to go on sale across Europe in November, replacing today's model, introduced in 2008.

Aston Martin V12 Zagato confirmed for production It didn’t take a genius to work out that the Aston Martin V12 Zagato would not just be incarnated as the Zig and Zag cars for the Nurburgring, but as a proper production car. Not a production car in the true sense, but a limited edition car much like the Aston Martin Zagato’s gone by. In fact we reported some time ago that we expected the V12 Zagato to start a limited production run of either 89 or 99 cars as soon as the Aston Martin One-77 ends production, and that the target price would be in the £300-350k range.

GM to cut 14% of global salaried workforce this year

General Motors, facing a Feb. 17 deadline to show the government it's a viable company, said on Tuesday it will cut 14 percent of its salaried jobs globally by the end of the year and slash the salaries of many who remain. Salaried employment will drop to 63,000, from 73,000, the company said in a statement.
