This is a 0 TSO factory overhauled Lycoming IO540-AE1A5 aircraft engine for a Robinson R44 Raven II Helicopter. Includes new Lycoming cylinders and cam shaft, overhauled mangentos, carburetor, and alternator. Logbook records, and warranty from Lycoming included too. A core fee is required to ensure the proper return of your timed out engine. RHC engine build up kit (Exhaust, panels, hoses, etc) is not include, please purchase separately. Engine is complete with all 8130-3 forms for components installed. This engine can be exported and shipped worldwide, Rotorcorp can arrange for an Export Airworthiness Certificate for a small fee.

Airworthiness Directive 2012-19-01  has been issued by the FAA in September 2012 for certain O-540 and IO-540 engines installed in Robinson R44 helicopters. RotorCorp has arranged for priority pricing on Lycoming factory overhauled and rebuilt zero time engines that renders this new AD a non-issue for R44 helicopter owners around the world. The AD requires mandatory replacement of engine crankshaft at overhaul on those Lycoming engines specified in Lycoming Service Bulletin 569A and Supplement 569A.  In most cases, crankshaft-subject engines can be submitted as cores with NO PENALTY!

The sports car maker has gone on the attack, with tough new European Union guidelines on carbon emissions looming. Brussels has already announced it would like the average new car's emissions to total 130g/km of CO2 by 2012, and is now haggling with the industry about implementing the target.
