Engine has 1448 hrs according to logbook.  Cylinders are 3000hr first run from a Colt and look very good but obviously need a rework.   Crank dials good and 2nd crank included also dials good.  NOS sludge tubes included.  Bendix mags with vibrator PS , MA3 carb, NOS camshaft with NOS cam gear, NOS valves, NOS valve springs.     Sump, intake tubes,  pushrods, pushrod tubes, valve covers, prop bolts, vac pump drive, all included.  3 pistons good, one had a small piece of the skirt missing.  I cleaned it up fine. If your gonna build as experimental I think its fine but no good if your going certified.  Starter and generator included.  My exp O-235 was rebulit for $5000.  I see no reason this one would cost any more.  Send me your questions.  Local Pickup in WV, 25405 zip code is preferred but I may be able to transport to Rockford IL if you can wait for it.

Fixing a real car when it breaks down is tiresome enough for most of us – choosing to repair one virtually in our own spare time sounds like the stuff that minds are boggled with.

Daimler-Renault alliance to delay new Smart and Twingo models, report says

Wed, 15 Jun 2011

Renault SA and Daimler AG, who are sharing technology to build the new Smart ForTwo and Renault Twingo cars, will delay the introduction of the models by a year, according to a French newspaper. The cars will now come to market in 2014 instead of 2013, La Tribune said, citing industry sources. The next ForTwo and the third-generation Twingo will be built on Renault's A platform, with ForTwo production continuing at Smart's plant in Hambach, France, and Twingo output at Renault's Novo Mesto factory in Slovenia.
