Jeremy Clarkson takes the new VW up! city car, Richard Hammond has the Ford Fiesta and James May the Dacia Sander (what else could he have taken?) as the boys traverse one of the biggest countries in Europe (and encounter many lorries, it seems).
VW Golf MK 7: BlueMotion & 4Motion announced
Wed, 10 Oct 2012Volkswagen has revealed additional engine options for the VW Golf MK 7 – 1.2 & 1.4 TSI BlueMotion – and 4Motion 4WD. Unsurprisingly, Volkswagen is going to be offering their eco-star BlueMotion setup in the new Golf with two petrol options available and the option of ACM (Active Cylinder Management). Entry-level for the new Golf BlueMotion will be the 1.2 litre TSI with 105PS with a more powerful version with the 1.4 litre 122PS engine also available.

Already a sizeable marque in North America, Infiniti are pushing hard to be recognised in Europe as a credible alternative to Lexus, and are looking to make hay in South East Asia and China as those economies become the world’s financial powerhouses. So the news that Infiniti are to up sticks and move their global headquarters to Hong Kong makes sense on several fronts.
