this is a muncie 4 speed out of a 1968 Camaro, it has 26 teeth input and 32 output, I believe it to be a M20 although my transmission guy says its a m22, it has two bands, everything points to m20. It was also just powder coated black. I paid 600 to have it rebuilt and powder coated, I had this service done last october, i just fired the car up after restoring her last week, and drove less than 10 miles and it got stuck in 3rd gear.... I don't know much about this stuff, just know that i want to move on and just bought a 700r4 and they offered me a couple hundred for a trade in core, I figured what the heck, i'll put it on eBay and see if I can get more, if in the event you could use it, I'd rather have you have it then, this guy flipping it and selling it for 1,200 for something real simple.

Them's the Breaks: Mercedes concept name razes I browse

Wed, 21 Apr 2010

Yes, yes, we know. The Mercedes-Benz use of the term “Shooting Break” as the name for its latest concept vehicle is, well, it's just so wrong. The traditional, and most people would say correct, spelling is “shooting brake.” As AW's copy chief, I take this sort of thing very much to heart and felt moved to respond to the yowling of readers on our Web site.
