Nearly half of male drivers admit to sleeping at the wheel

Nearly half of male drivers admit to having fallen asleep at the wheel, a survey has found. Road safety charity Brake and insurance company Direct Line found that 31% of all drivers admit to ‘head-nodding’ at the wheel – meaning they’ve fallen asleep while driving a car for between two and 30 seconds. Fifth-generation BMW M5 teased in new video

BMW is preparing a fifth generation of the high-performance M5 sedan. We expect to get a turbocharged V8 making about 550 hp and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. BMW plans to roll out the new M5 at the Frankfurt motor show in September.

It’s more the reveal of the production version of the GTC Concept we already saw at the Paris Motor Show last year. Surprisingly, the Astra GTC manages to hang on to quite a bit of the style of the GTC Concept, such as the blistered wheel arches and the deep grill, although the usual conpcety stuff – like oversized alloys – have had to bite the dust.
