The Mag-Hytec Dana 60-DF (Ford Front) differential cover adds approximately 1 quart of fluid over stock. The front covers are a nice aesthetic compliment to their rear cover, as they have all of the same high-quality features that make Mag-Hytec the premier cover manufacturer. Cast in A356-T6 aluminum and texture powder coated black with contrasting machined cooling fins, the Mag-Hytec differential cover boasts increased fluid and cooling capacity, a magnetic dipstick for checking fluid level and checking metal particulate, a magnetic drain plug, a fluid level reference plug, as well as a temperature sender port in 1/8"NPT. All Dipstick, drain plugs and reference plugs are MS 33649 and fitted with ARP 568 O-rings for superior sealing. All fasteners are T-303 stainless steel. The cover seal is a dovetail groove mounted ARP 568 O-ring that requires no sealant or gasket. It can be removed and reinstalled several times without replacement.

Concept Car of the Week: Ford Mustang I (1962)
Fri, 07 Jun 2013Influenced by science fiction and Space exploration in the early sixties, Ford Motor Corporation developed a series of research vehicles to test innovative layouts, experimental technologies and futuristic styling on such radical concepts as the X2000, Levacar Mach 1 and the Gyron that still captivate the imagination. In parallel, Ford's advanced styling studio was also working on a more rational project that could influence production models to compete with GM Corvair Monza. Stylists and engineers came up with a high-performance 2-seater vehicle with the engine placed in front of the rear axle for better aerodynamics and improved weight distribution.

Administrator PKF (UK) LLP has spent the past month clarifying the assets of Blackpool Automotive Ltd, the company that ran the Blackpool factory, and it in fact holds several trump cards that could prevent the Russian owner switching production overseas. The sale advert in the Financial Times reveals that Blackpool Automotive controls the TVR trademark in Europe and the US, as well as all the intellectual property rights and tooling for the sports cars.
