Installation Instructions

The Mag-Hytec Dana 60-DF (Ford Front) differential cover adds approximately 1 quart of fluid over stock. The front covers are a nice aesthetic compliment to their rear cover, as they have all of the same high-quality features that make Mag-Hytec the premier cover manufacturer. Cast in A356-T6 aluminum and texture powder coated black with contrasting machined cooling fins, the Mag-Hytec differential cover boasts increased fluid and cooling capacity, a magnetic dipstick for checking fluid level and checking metal particulate, a magnetic drain plug, a fluid level reference plug, as well as a temperature sender port in 1/8"NPT. All Dipstick, drain plugs and reference plugs are MS 33649 and fitted with ARP 568 O-rings for superior sealing. All fasteners are T-303 stainless steel. The cover seal is a dovetail groove mounted ARP 568 O-ring that requires no sealant or gasket. It can be removed and reinstalled several times without replacement.
  • Magnetic drain plug and anodized aluminum dipstick with magnetic insert aids in trapping worn gear material promoting fluid integrity.
  • O-rings require no gaskets or sealant
  • Routine lube maintenance without removing the differential cover
  • 1/8"NPT temperature sender port
  • T-303 stainless steel hardware
  • Lube level reference plug
  • Finned aircraft aluminum housing
  • Requires Allen key wrenches (included) for installation and service
  • Fits with most factory suspension systems and aftermarket anti-sway bars
  • All Mag-Hytec parts are covered by a lifetime limited warranty.

SUV owners to pay more for parking

Wed, 26 Mar 2014

SUV drivers should get ready to pay more at the parking lot, especially in big cities. MarketWatch reported on Wednesday that parking lots are going the way of airplane luggage: Bigger means more expensive. The report found that Manhattan garages charge $10-$15 more per day for oversized vehicles.

Subaru Tribeca facelifted ((2007): first official pictures

Tue, 03 Apr 2007

By Liz Turner First Official Pictures 03 April 2007 09:01 Subaru Tribeca: the lowdown Subaru is being very honest about the B9 Tribeca. Its face was its misfortune and it sold only 18,000 in the States instead of the projected 36,000. The ugly duckling hasn’t quite become a swan, though.

BMW 2 Series Active Tourer gets (slightly inappropriate) M Sport Package

Fri, 28 Mar 2014

The BMW 2 Series active Tourer moves to the butch side with an M Sport Package Purists moan, but the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer MPV is a sensible move by BMW and aimed at BMW lovers who need a BMW equivalent to the Mercedes B Class; a premium family car for shifting kids and stuff around. Using the same platform as the all new MINI, the 2 Series Active Tourer is BMW’s first front wheel drive car, although a 225i Active Tourer will go on sale in November complete with BMW’s 4WD xDrive. But the 2 Series Active Tourer wouldn’t be a BMW offering unless it also came with the option of an M Sport Pack, which is exactly what will be on offer – however unsuited the Active Tourer may seem for such sporty embellishments – when the xDrive Active Tourer arrives in November (although the M Sport Pack will be offered across the whole Active Tourer range).
