Thu, 02 Feb 2012The new Fiat 500L will debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show The Fiat 500L is heading for a debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month, and we have the first official photo of the oversized 500. We’ve reported a few times recently on what we now know to be the Fiat 500L. It initially seemed that Fiat would use the ElleZero code name for the production car, but we subsequently learnt that, despite only a passing resemblance to the 500, it was to be the Fiat 500L (for long).

Fri, 21 Oct 2011Speed Cameras in Newcastle switched off Speed cameras – certainly many of them – are nothing more than tax generators. But if you live, or travel, in Newcastle, then speed cameras have contributed virtually nothing – they’ve all been switched off for up to four years. Newcastle has a total of fourteen speed cameras, but to save money the local council has had them all switched off for the last two years, and some of them haven’t worked for four years in a secret, money-saving exercise.
Ford Galaxy MPV spied stateside
Tue, 28 Aug 2012Autoweek reader and frequent spy-shot contributor Spencer Abbott sends these photos of what appears to be a Ford Galaxy MPV -- or minivan, as we typically call the vehicles stateside -- testing in metropolitan Detroit. The Galaxy received a facelift in 2010, and that appears to be what we're seeing in these photos. Your guess is as good as ours as to why the vehicle was out and about near Ford's Dearborn, Mich., headquarters.
