2014 McLaren 650S: pictures and full details

The McLaren 650S has been revealed ahead of its official debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next month. The new model is based on the existing 12C and McLaren says that it bridges the gap between that car and its P1 ‘hypercar’. Prices start at £195,000 for the 650S coupe and £215,000 for the convertible 650S Spider and represent a premium of about £20,000 over the equivalent 12C and 12C Spider models.

Jaguar XFR – the Cat’s out of the bag

The XFR is Jaguar’s answer to the barn-storming saloons from Mercedes, BMW and Audi, and if looks and spec (and the experience of driving the non-blown XF) are anything to go by, the new big Cat should get the cream. The XFR gets the new version of Jaguar’s AJV8 engine, which is a 5.0 litre supercharged lump, producing a whopping 510bhp, with the usual limited top speed of 155mph, and a 0-60 of around 4.5 seconds. Honda peps up the Insight hybrid car (2010)

In particular, the new 2010 Insight gets mods to the suspension to improve the ride and a few more luxurious cabin trimmings. It seems that Honda's taken some flak over the way the Insight drives, and engineers have focused on improving the Insight's ride comfort and refinement.
