The 2013 Maserati Quattroporte will get a new 8-speed ZF auto ‘box, a new V6 turbo engine with 404bhp and a V8 twin turbo with 523bhp. 4WD option on V6. But despite sharing photos of the new Quattroporte, Maserati didn’t see fit to let us know just how big the new Quattroporte will be nor what will be going on under the skin.

British motorists are paying out a massive £30 million in parking fines every month, according to Freedom Of Information data obtained by LV= car insurance. So far in 2013, councils have handed out over 890,000 tickets a month – an increase of 4% on 2012 figures. The huge £30 million total is based on the UK average parking fine of £42.

Ferrari is adding 250 workers and expanding its engine-building capacity, even as it says it will cut car production this year at its landmark factory in Maranello, Italy. Why the cause for growth?
