The LPE designed magnetic drain plug is truly the first no mess, easy to use chip collector. A unique one way check valve keeps oil in the pan while allowing inspection of the chip collector. Also available, the Quick Drain #QDA1 adaptor which snaps into the drain plug and allows easy draining of the pan without unscrewing the plug to eliminate possible spills. SX drain plug kits fit most SBC and BBC applications including L98 & LT1 with non metric 1/2" drain plugs.

The electric SLS – the Mercedes SLS Electric Drive – has been shown at Paris 2012 ahead of a 2013 launch. Mercedes are billing the electric SLS as the most powerful production electric car in the world, and with an output of 740 horses from its four electric motors – one at each corner – that’s no surprise. That output – and a torque figure of 738lb/ft – makes the electric SLS a whole heap more powerful than its ICE counterpart and allows it to get to 62mph in 3.9 seconds.

Audi to buy Ducati 'next week' - Reuters

Audi looks set to complete its purchase of superbike maker Ducati as early as next week, according to Reuters. The news wire reports the deal could be finalised by 18 April 2012, the day before VW's annual shareholders meeting in Hamburg. Audi has been undertaking due diligence on the purchase of Ducati and the bean counters are reporting no obstacles to the deal.     Why is Audi interested in buying Ducati?
