Jaguar Land Rover lands Nokia's Damien Dinning

Jaguar Land Rover has acquired the services of Nokia's chief imaging head Damien Dinning, who it hopes will advance its connected car systems. Dinning, who has been with the Finnish technology giant since 2004, took the decision to leave because of his reluctance to relocate his family from the UK to Finland. Icona reveals first render of Vulcano super sportscar

Icona will unveil a one-off super sports car dubbed Vulcano at next month's Shanghai auto show. The Vulcano was coachbuilt in Italy and was designed by the Shanghai-based Italian design house to show an evolution of its design language, first seen on the 2011 Icona Fuselage concept designed by Samuel Chuffart, Icona's design director. Icona says the design aims express the power within the hood while keeping the shapes harmonious.

2010 Jaguar XJ Neiman Marcus special edition sells out all 50 copies

It took all of four hours and four minutes for a special Neiman Marcus edition of the redesigned 2010 Jaguar XJ to sell out through the retail giant's Christmas book on Friday. Just 50 copies of the big cat, called the XJL Supercharged Neiman Marcus edition, will be produced. And they're all spoken for after brisk sales reservations last week.
