Skoda VisionC concept for Geneva 2014 debut

This is the first official teaser image of Skoda’s 2014 Geneva Motor Show star, called the Skoda VisionC concept. The new design study will be unveiled in Switzerland next month and previews “the next stage of development in Skoda’s design language”, according to the Czech brand. Jeep Renegade Concept

Chrysler has revealed three sketches of new concepts it is scheduled to unveil at the Detroit Auto Show in January. One of these is the Jeep Renegade Concept, a sporty B-segment-sized two-seater the automaker claims is ideally suited for the all-weather delights of off-roading and dune surfing. The design of the vehicle is a futuristic take on the existing open-topped Jeep Wrangler, featuring a cut-down speedster windshield, a roll bar, openings in the door lowers and a hose-out interior.

The R, ML and GL 320 Bluetec diesels will be launched in America in autumn 2008, but won’t be coming to Europe yet. The three SUVs, which Mercedes claims come with the world’s latest and cleanest diesel engine, may not even make it to the UK.  All three come with a 3.0-litre diesel engine that has revised piston crowns, a lower compression ratio, and a new turbocharger and ECU.
