College Exhibition: Coventry University MA Degree Show 2009
Wed, 23 Dec 2009MA students from Coventry University's School of Art and Design presented their annual degree show at Coventry Transport Museum late last month. Entitled ‘Keep Movin', the nine graduating students showed a range of projects, which centered on the theme of sustainable transportation, energy efficient vehicles and new materials. There was also a sample of an earlier group project that explored the future of the car based on the ‘Foresight Future Scenarios 2055'.

Sat, 23 May 2009The Citroen DS Inside Concept Configurator - build your own Citroen DS3 But yet another part is to involve the car-buying public, so Citroen has launched an on-line configurator for the yet to be released Citroen DS3, their small ‘Luxury’ car that was announced at the Geneva Motor Show as the Citroen DS Inside Concept. The Citroen DS3 is going to pit Citroen against the likes of the MINI and the Alfa Romeo MiTo. Which are tough acts to take on.
Designer insights: highlights of Auto Design Prague 2014

But when one considers the country's history of innovation in the arts and architecture, its long-lived automotive marques like Tatra and Skoda, and Prague's central location in Europe, it makes perfect sense. Conference speakers included the program design director for Citroën DS, Ivo Groen; Volvo vice president of design Thomas Ingenlath; Jaguar advanced design director, Julian Thomson; Gert Hildebrand, head of design for Qoros; and Johann Lemercier, program manager at Ferrari design.
