This was possible because each of these models received their specific programming from the factory. In other words, you can't simply swap a used ECM from one vehicle to the next. We are a licensed user of the same software that your local dealer would use to program and update your computer. With your purchase, we will program the ECM to your VIN (vehicle identification number) with the latest software updates available from GM. ******This ECM is used and was removed from a running salvaged vehicle. This ECM comes with a 1-year replacement guarantee. We have been in the PCM business for 10+ years. We are also a 10+ year eBay member with an Excellent positive feedback score. Other info: Why buy your spare ECM from us? You will be purchasing a high quality used ECM. You get free Flash programming with every OBDII GM computer purchased. OBDII type computers have the “chip” imbedded into the PCM and it is not removable. The calibration file per the application is “Flashed,” or reprogrammed using a software package and a pass through device. The “chip” is no longer removed for programming. Proper programming is essential when replacing a ECM whether it is a used ECM or a remanufactured ECM. A used GM computer will have the software installed that pertains to the original vehicle that it was removed from. In some cases, GM OBDII type computers will interchange with many different vehicles including those with different engine and transmission configurations. However, unless the computer is programmed with the correct software it won’t function properly upon installation. We will flash program the computer purchased from us with your specific VIN number for the latest updated calibrations available for a stock calibration. This is important to ensure specific vehicle programming and to guarantee flawless performance in your vehicle. At the end of the auction you will need to provide us with your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). ******View our e-bay store for more ECM’s.

2012 Mercedes GLK Facelift – but still no GLK for the UK
Thu, 22 Mar 20122012 Mercedes GLK Facelift - but not for the UK A facelift for 2012 on the Mercedes GLK SUV is due to debut at the New York Auto Show in April, but the UK still won’t get the GLK. Mercedes’ answer to cars like the BMW X3 and Audi Q5 – the Mercedes GLK – is to get a facelift for 2012 and some tweaks to the oily bits for 2012, but Mercedes still don’t think it worth their while building a RHD version for the UK. In fact, despite expectations that Mercedes would at least deliver a RWD version of the GLK to RHD markets it now seems that won’t happen until the all new GLK arrives in a few years time.

Thu, 11 Oct 2012The Nissan Micra is getting a price cut in the UK, with the entry-level Micra dropping to just £7,995 and price cuts across the Micra range. That means the entry-level Micra 1.2 12v Visia comes down form a not exactly bargain basement £9,750 to a much more appealing £7,995. And Nissan hasn’t done it by cutting equipment levels, as they say every model still gets the same level of equipment, including Bluetooth.
