Ferrari F70 takes test laps

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

It's a strange world we live in when, even in my short-to-medium lifespan, we've gone from the 1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi making either 205 or 214 hp—depending on who you're asking—to the Ferrari F70, which is rumored to make 950 hp with its V12 and KERS system. I would put an Excel graph here, but just imagine a line going up at a 45-degree angle to infinity. Citroen DS1 & new Citroen C1 2012 reveals

Sun, 18 Dec 2011

Auto Bild's take on the Citroen DS1 2012 looks set to be another busy year for Citroen, with the new C1 revealed at Brussels in January and a DS1 at Geneva in March. Citroen has certainly found its mojo again in the last couple of years, particularly with the very persuasive range of DS cars. And now it looks like we’re soon to get the baby of the DS range, with the debut of the Citroen DS1 at Geneva in the Spring.

Crucified cassette, Hindi BMW remix CD and other junkyard musical finds

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

In addition to holiday-themed displays assembled by junkyard employees and the occasional sad, flood-victim Volvo Amazon, I frequently find homemade mix CDs and cassette tapes while prowling through wrecking yards. In fact, it would be possible to go into just about any high-inventory-turnover self-service wrecking yard in North America and come away with several dozen such discs and tapes, if anybody ever felt motivated to do such a thing. I haven't, yet.
