2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS gets 1LE track option

Chevrolet is resurrecting the 1LE order code for the 2013 Camaro SS. It will turn the pony car into a dedicated track toy with an upgraded suspension, ZL1-based wheels and tires and a high-capacity fuel pump for handling 1g corner loads. The original 1LE was introduced in 1988, inspired by Pro-Am racing.

Caterham has launched its new Seven 160 – an 80hp entry-level variant of its back-to-basics sports car available that’s available now from £14,995. That’s in kit form: if you’re not keen to build it yourself you’ll have to stretch to £17,995, which still offers a decent fun/money ratio thanks to its kerb weight of less than 500kg: that equates to 160hp-per-tonne. Toyota is adding another hybrid sedan--the Sai--for the Japanese market

The Toyota brand is getting another hybrid sedan in the Japanese market, a sister model to the Lexus HS 250h that will sport a more powerful engine than the Prius hatchback. The car, to be named the Toyota Sai, will go on sale in Japan on Oct. 20, Toyota Motor Corp.
