You are bidding on a new Manual Idle Air Control valve. It is made of billet 6061 in USA!

The adjuster allows quick, easy idle adjustment without tools.

People *claim* the item is necessary to fool TPS when using high-overlap camshafts, but works perfectly for those who no longer wish to use an idle controller such as when MegaSquirt is installed.
The valve can also be used as an inexpensive replacement for a failed, expensive IAC motor.
A few drivers need their idle speed higher or lower than the factory setting.

Obviously, you will have to keep your foot lightly on pedal during warmup, or install an old-fashioned pull throttle.
Please reuse existing O-ring.

'Runaway Throttle' Warning: Please ensure screws (supplied) are coated with a threadlocker; having this manual (or the factory) controller fall out will lead to uncontrollable and potentially dangerous engine speeds!!

Vauxhall launches powerful 1.0 petrol engine

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

OLD-FASHIONED 1.6-litre petrol engines in Vauxhall cars are about to be replaced by a clever new 1.0-litre alternative. The tiny newcomer has only three cylinders, but thanks to a turbocharger it coughs up more power and torque than many normal 1.6-litre equivalents. It’s set to debut in Vauxhall’s funky Adam supermini, although the new engine will be display-only when it emerges at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

The Citroen DS3 Cabriolet - expected to be the Citroen DS3 AirFlow – will debut at the Paris Motor Show next month. The Citroen DS3 is still – three years on from its launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009 – one of our favourite cars. It looks good, goes well and has a Gallic charm that’s almost unrivalled.
