Toyota recalls the Lexus GX 460 SUV to upgrade stability software
Mon, 19 Apr 2010Toyota on Monday said it is recalling about 9,400 copies of the 2010 Lexus GX 460 to update the stability-control software--just one week after Consumer Reports magazine warned that the vehicle was prone to oversteer in turns and urged its subscribers not to buy the vehicle. It's the latest in a series of gaffes that have damaged Toyota's reputation for high quality and led the automaker to recall millions of vehicles to fix problems such as sticking gas pedals. Nissan offers interactive shopping for smartphone users on sales lots

With the "On Vehicle Graphics" system, QR codes are available to provide extra decision-making information that is easily accessible via popular mobile devices. The codes are available to act as a "silent salesperson," starting with vehicles for the 2012 model year.
Lancia to unveil its Chrysler-based flagship and a new Ypsilon

The sedan will debut alongside a new version of Lancia's best-selling model, the Ypsilon, at the Geneva auto show in March.
