Englon TXN from Geely. The new London Taxi? No Chance.
Mon, 12 Apr 2010Englon TXN by Geely - supposedly on Tower Bridge A couple of weeks ago we regaled you with the sorry story of the London Cab falling in to Chinese hands. It wasn’t the most shocking story considering how feeble the London Cab has become in comparison to newer offerings like the Mercedes Taxi – which is taking a big chunk of sales from the traditional cab – but still sad to see the iconic London Taxi end up this way. Caterham off to China in 2012
Wed, 20 Jul 2011Caterham Cars - China Bound It’s quite an eventful time for car-making minnows Caterham – keepers of the Colin Chapman Flame- with a takeover at Caterham by Tony Fernades and Team Lotus only just complete, and now the news that Caterham are going to be selling cars in China from 2012. Caterham has now signed an exclusive deal with Chinese importer Courtenay Trading International (CTI) who are aiming to appoint six retailers in key provinces of China over the next twelve months with a modest sales target of 50 cars in the first year.

Thu, 17 Apr 2008By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 17 April 2008 23:43 You’ve seen the leaked images and the scoops, but now the wait is finally over. These are the first officially sanctioned photographs of the new Vauxhall Insignia – marking the end of two decade of the Vectra, which replaced the Cavalier back in 1988.It’s immediately apparent that the Insignia is way more stylish than today’s dowdy Vectra. Where that car is achingly sober and sensible, the Insignia actually lets its hair down and has a bit of fun.
