Goodwood Festival of Speed gets a Phantom Coupe

Thu, 26 Mar 2009

Tom Purves of Rolls Royce handing over a Phantom Coupe to Lord March for the Goodwood Festival of Speed [ad#ad-1] We brought you news of the launch details for the 2009 Goodwood Festival of Speed last week, and today it has been announced that Rolls Royce has lent the Goodwood Festival of Speed a Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe as the official Course Car for this year. Bit too expensive and not exactly capable of massive feats of performance (although it is, at least intil the Silver Ghost arrives, the most ‘Sporty’ of the Rolls Royce models), but it fits the Goodwood event perfectly.

New McLaren F1 (P12) Official Specs?

Sun, 09 Sep 2012

We’ve got specifications of the new McLaren F1 (P12) which appear to confirm our earlier reports on its power and performance. Update: It seems the source of this story – an article on Jalopnik – was actually based on a spoof. So all we have is a mish-mash of best guesses and speculation and no new facts at all (see comments at the bottom).

Vauxhall, Opel, Pegueot, Citroen merger talks fail

Wed, 14 Nov 2012

Talks between GM Europe and PSA (Peugeot Citroen) have failed as a French government bailout for PSA looks imminent. When we reported in March that G.M.
