Aye captain! Up for your consideration is a good running engine for your fine vessel. It is a 50 horse prima diesel marine engine. This engine uses coolant that is circulated through the motor with a heat exchanger that uses sea water to cool the engine coolant. It starts right up and runs cleanly. Engine comes with original user manual, control panel, and wiring harness. It has glow plugs, so it needs a strong battery. Engine control panel displays 2254 hours. All cylinders fire and injectors work. It has some smoke on fire up as do all diesels but it clears as the engine warms up. The oil in this engine is very clean and perkins uses a full pass system to clean oil so If you keep good filters changed oil will be surprisingly clean. transmission is not included. OEM control panel +- 600 heat exchanger +- 800 Injection pump +- 600 Wiring harness +- 600 Just those items alone are 2600.00 Not including block and manifolds and head etc.... if it doesnt sell, I will consider selling parts. The starter is not included, you will have to get one. Or if you buy it now I will order one for you (at cost). harness and control panel are untested and therefore not guaranteed they appear to be in good shape ( no burnt wires etc..) here is a youtube video of engine running, It runs even better since this vid was taken. https://youtu.be/h0ZQV6r5Cpo

VL Destino revealed - what became of the Fisker Karma

Fri, 10 Jan 2014

VL This is the new face of the Fisker Karma, the luxury plug-in hybrid whose parent company went to the wall last year. But it’s not only the Karma’s gap-toothed grin that’s disappeared: its plug-in hybrid powertrain has bitten the dust, too, replaced by a GM-sourced V8 – a supercharged lump boasting 638hp and 640lb ft. Called the VL Destino, the wilder Karma will be shown at this month’s North American International Auto Show, aka the Detroit Motor Show.
