This is a marine Ford 302/5.0L replacement motor for Mercruiser/OMC and others. Reverse rotation and twin drive motors are available too, please ask! This same motor is also available for automotive/light truck applications, please inquire.
All longblocks have the following work done: Hot tanked Magnafluxed Bored on a Kwik-Way FN Honed on Sunnen equipment with Sunnen stones Rods are resized using Sunnen equipment Crankshaft is ground/polished Three angle valve job Heads are resurfaced The following parts are replaced: Main Bearings-Clevite Rod bearings-Clevite Cam bearings-Durabond Pistons-Sealed Power or Silvolite Rings-Hastings Oil Pump-Melling Camshaft-Melling Marine Lifters-Sealed Power Timing Set-Melling Brass freeze plugs All longblocks include a complete marine gasket set and Melling oil pump to complete the installation. All motors are painted using the high-temp engine enamel and can be painted any color! This as close to a custom built engine you'll ever find! It's also the first RWD luxury sedan to earn a “Good” rating in the small overlap crash test. The ranking applies to Genesis sedans equipped with the optional front crash-prevention feature.

The 500's score of 35 points puts it ahead of cars like the Mini and Renault Clio while the 500’s closest rival, the Renault Twingo, only achieved four stars in the latest tests. The 500’s 35 points bettered the Twingo’s 28, as did its 14 point to the Renault’s 11 for pedestrian safety (though both ratings are equivalent to two stars).
Mazda opens new plant in Salamanca, Mexico
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Mazda Motor Corp. chairman Takashi Yamanouchi opened the company's new small-car assembly plant in Mexico today, calling it the company's "most important global strategic base." The factory, which will produce up to 230,000 vehicles each year, is a cornerstone of the structural reform plan "upon which the very future of company hinges," Yamanouchi said in remarks prepared for the opening ceremony. "Mazda's Structural Reform Plan, upon which the very future of the company hinges, positions this plant as our most important global strategic base," Yamanouchi said of the factory, which is about three hours northwest of Mexico City in Guanajuato State.
