This is a marine Ford 302/5.0L replacement motor for Mercruiser/OMC and others. Reverse rotation and twin drive motors are available too, please ask! This same motor is also available for automotive/light truck applications, please inquire.
All longblocks have the following work done: Hot tanked Magnafluxed Bored on a Kwik-Way FN Honed on Sunnen equipment with Sunnen stones Rods are resized using Sunnen equipment Crankshaft is ground/polished Three angle valve job Heads are resurfaced The following parts are replaced: Main Bearings-Clevite Rod bearings-Clevite Cam bearings-Durabond Pistons-Sealed Power or Silvolite Rings-Hastings Oil Pump-Melling Camshaft-Melling Marine Lifters-Sealed Power Timing Set-Melling Brass freeze plugs All longblocks include a complete marine gasket set and Melling oil pump to complete the installation. All motors are painted using the high-temp engine enamel and can be painted any color! This as close to a custom built engine you'll ever find! The new convertible will boast 509 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque from Aston's signature 6.0-liter engine. The roadster shares many of the technical features and specifications from the hardtop version, though some elements had to be changed to accommodate the folding soft top.
Gulf One Z06 tops $1 million at auction
Thu, 29 Jan 2009An icon of 1960s racing, the Gulf One Corvette Z06 racer, was in familiar position last weekend at the Mecum Auction--first. The 1963 car sold for $1.05 million at the Kissimmee, Fla., event--doubling the price of a 1962 Mercedes 300 SL, which went for $525,000, not including the buyer’s premiums. The racer is based on a production Corvette Sting Ray.
