2013 Rolls Royce Ghost updates
Tue, 30 Oct 2012Three years on from the launch of a Rolls Royce for owner drivers – the RR Ghost – Rolls Royce has made some updates for 2013. Believe it or not, it’s three years since the Rolls Royce Ghost arrived at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show as a more ‘Sporty’ take on the RR ethos and aimed at owner-drivers; the sort of chap who’s outgrown big Mercedes and BMW but still likes to drive. Three years on from launch, we’re still waiting for RR to deliver a Ghost Coupe (perhaps the Corniche?) and a Ghost DHC, so when we saw an email from Rolls Royce with 2013 updates we got quite excited.
Honda Accord Hybrid boasts 50 mpg in 2014 model
Tue, 24 Sep 2013Honda is giving us a real treat with its 2014 50-mpg Accord Hybrid, set to go on sale Halloween of this year. This well-equipped Accord Hybrid will be offered with a choice of three different grades with a suggested retail price ranging from $29,945 to $35,695 including destination. The LX, Sport and EX/EX-L sedan models will feature an In-Line 4-Cylinder engine, as well as the LX-S, EX and EX-L coupe models.
Classic Car Boot Sale returns to London
Mon, 24 Feb 2014Fans of vintage cars, fashion and memorabilia will have all their wishes met at next month’s Classic Car Boot Sale, returning to London’s Southbank Centre. Following the inaugural event last year that attracted over 8,000 visitors this year’s event has been extended over Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March. Located along the riverfront at Southbank Centre between the Queen’s Walk, Hungerford Bridge and Jubilee Gardens, the Classic Car Boot Sale will have an interesting mix of fashions, homeware and memorabilia, all sold from the boots of classic cars.
