Ferrari F70 takes test laps
Wed, 06 Feb 2013It's a strange world we live in when, even in my short-to-medium lifespan, we've gone from the 1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi making either 205 or 214 hp—depending on who you're asking—to the Ferrari F70, which is rumored to make 950 hp with its V12 and KERS system. I would put an Excel graph here, but just imagine a line going up at a 45-degree angle to infinity. With all of that in mind, here's about five minutes of the camouflaged supercar flying around the test track with fantastic audio of the Italian stallion in action.
Mitsubishi Evo X to be the last Evo – until, perhaps, a hybrid Evo XI
Tue, 01 Apr 2014The Mitsubishi EVO X – the last Evo The UK has just had the news that a very limited edition Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X FQ-440 MR is up for grabs as Mitsubishi celebrate their 40th anniversary. But once the Evo X FQ-440 MR special editions are sold, it will be back to no Evos for the UK, just as it has been since 2011. And it seems the rest of the world will soon follow suit.
Lamborghini Aventador Roadster sold out for the next year
Mon, 04 Feb 2013It seems that the newly launched Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster is already sold out until the middle of 2014. That North American East Coast outing comes just a few months after Lamborghini revealed its open-topped Aventador at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November with the same 6.5 litre V12 engine as its tin-topped sibling and a 0-62mph of a scant 3.0 seconds. At a UK price expected to be just the right side of £300k you might think, especially in these financially constrained times, Lamborghini might struggle to find buyers for its ultimate toupee wrecker.
