Condition:For parts or not working

Offered for sale is a vintage(about 1947 or so) Martin 40 outboard motor that is complete and does turn over ok. The recoil starter pulls fine and does  engage the flywheel. I have done nothing to the engine, except putting a little Kroil on the starter pawls, since getting it from an estate where it had been unused for at least 40 years according to relatives. The engine is supposed to be 4.5 hp according to one website. This engine is being listed as pickup only but I will be happy to pack or pallet for your carrier for a reasonable fee. Contact me by email or text at 2766926849 to discuss pickup or shipping options. This engine is for sale locally so this ad could be pulled at any time if there are no bids.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!
