Mon, 13 Apr 2009Hyundai's North American design team unveiled the HCD II ‘New Vision Utility' (NUVIS) concept at the New York Auto Show, the eleventh signature concept car to be designed at the company's California Design Center in Irvine, California. In addition to showcasing the brand's cutting-edge capabilities, Nuvis also hints at a possible design direction for a future-generation crossover, blending attributes of a tall urban car and a premium utility vehicle. Barrichello wins for Brawn in Monza
Sun, 13 Sep 2009Barrichello wins the Italian Grand Prix in Monza The Brawns trailed Hamilton, Raikkonen and Sutil in the first stage of the race with their one-stop strategy, but the dividends of that strategy paid off with the Brawn duo taking the lead after the second pit stops by McLaren, Ferrari and Force India. Hamilton, in the McLaren, had a good race, and was challenging Button for second place in the closing stages. But, having got to within a second of Button on the last lap, he crashed out – probably by trying a bit too hard.
Infiniti Q30 Concept revealed ahead of its Frankfurt debut
Tue, 27 Aug 2013The Infiniti Q30 Concept (pictured) will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month It’s more than two years since the Infiniti Etherea Concept concept arrived at the Geneva Motor Show to point the way towards Infiniti’s compact future, and now that future is almost here with the reveal of the Infiniti Q30 Concept following on from a teaser sketch of the Q30 earlier this month . Not that Infiniti has exactly thrown caution to the wind and sent us a whole raft of photos – just the single photo of the Q30 above – but it does give us a better idea of what Infiniti are aiming to do in the compact premium market. Based on the underpinnings of the new Mercedes A-Class – and probably using a mix of Mercedes and Renault engines – Infiniti want us to know that the Q30 isn’t just another addition to the ever increasing choice of premium crossovers, but a real of fusion of bodystyles.
