New Mercedes GLA SUV: Frankfurt 2013
Wed, 11 Sep 2013The new Mercedes GLA SUV (pictured) has debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Mercedes may not have been exactly overwhelmingly good at producing a compact car with the old A-Class, but the new A-Class is a very good little car, and it’s rapidly spawning more variants to mop up more sales. Rolls Royce Ghost spotted at Dover
Sun, 17 May 2009A virtually uncamouflaged Rolls Royce Ghost caught waiting for a ferry at Dover We’ve seen the Rolls Royce Ghost (formerly known as the RR4 or EX200) out testing in various states of camouflage over the last few months. Finally, at the Geneva Motor Show, we got a proper look at the Ghost, and then, in April, Rolls Royce decided to tell us what we already knew back in February, that it was to be known as the Rolls Royce Ghost, to make a brace of ethereal model names for Rolls Royce, along with the Phantom. So with Rolls Royce seemingly on target to launch the Rolls Royce Ghost as a production-ready car at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, they are busy testing the Ghost in Europe, and our snappers caught this virtually uncamouflaged Ghost patiently waiting to catch a ferry at Dover to sail to Calais.
Woman ticketed for driving with Google Glasses
Sun, 03 Nov 2013A Californian woman is thought to be the first ever motorist to receive a ticket for driving while wearing ‘Google Glass’ computer spectacles. Cecilia Abadie was written up under a state law banning drivers from watching TV behind the wheel, which the officer in question believed Ms Abadie’s transgression fell under. But there’s a twist… On Bing: see pictures of Google Glass Google driverless cars ‘safer than humans’ Ms Abadie claims the augmented reality device – which displays information on a tiny screen in a smartphone-like hands-free format in front of the wearer’s eye – was actually switched off at the time.
