This listing is for a starter shield that was original equipment on a Maserati 3500GT.It is mounted to a bracket attached to the starter solenoid. This part is illustrated in Table 9 Item 111 in the 3500GT Spare Parts Manual. The purpose of this shield is to keep dripping fuel from the rear carburetor off the starter brushes creating a fire.

Bentley SUV will be the Bentley Falcon
Fri, 23 Nov 2012It looks like Bentley has come up with a name for its SUV – Bentley Falcon - and, as expected, it will get a complete redesign before it arrives. But it now seems that VW has bitten the bullet on the Bentley SUV and signed it off for production, when it will apparently come complete with a new Bentley name – Bentley Falcon. The news of a name for Bentley’s luxury off-roader comes from Georg Kacher writing in Automobile Magazine and, although it perhaps doesn’t resonate particularly in the UK, it will probably have more impact on the target market for the SUV – the Middle East – where the Falcon is a big deal.

Wed, 15 Aug 2012The first images and details of the fourth-generation Range Rover have been released, with a notable upward shift in size and 'dynamism' for the full-fat RR. The outgoing version brought with it a dramatic increase in size to make way for the smaller Sport and this new one grows to truly 'full-size' dimensions. The increase in length (no official figures have been released) is exaggerated by the canted-back nose, extended wheelbase and rear overhang and tapering roof line.
