This is a complete Maserati Biturbo drivetrain.  It is ready for any drop in installation or street rod application as it sits.  The engine came out of a 1986 Biturbo that was totaled in a rear collision.  It has a 54K miles and was running when pulled approximately on year ago.  The engine turns over freely and includes all accessories you see in the pictures.  The transmission is a 3 speed automatic

If you are using this for a street rod application this is the engine to have.  It is the last carbureted  model and can easily push over 400 Hp with swapping the the stock carb to a new Demon and increasing your turbo boost or turbo sizing.  Imagine popping the hood of your classic and having a twin turbo Maserati drivetrain replacing that stock Ford or Chevy power.

Shipping is available.  I will quote it by freight if you send me the destination.  I highly recommend picking it up at the freight terminal as you will save a lot of money and they will load it on your truck for you.  You can also pick it up free of charge and I will load it.

This time there’s no waiting for the Turbo S to follow the Turbo, with both models on offer straight out of the gate. The 911 Turbo gets the 3.8 litre flat six with 513bhp and the Turbo S gets an even more fulsome 552bhp, enough to get to 62mph in just 3.1 seconds and on to 198mph. And, with its four wheel drive, it’ll feel even quicker in the real world.

Car dealers are buying again

Wed, 21 Jan 2009

Used car sales in the UK (and just about everywhere else, for that matter) have been in the doldrums, to say the least, for many months. The inexorable decline in car values has left many dealers nursing painful losses on stock cars, and has led to the strange situation where, however desperate a dealer was to sell you a new car, he wouldn’t (or couldn’t) offer you a part-ex price. Car dealers are buying stock again But according to the used car value Gurus at Glasses Guide, things are starting to look up – a little.
