MASS AIR FLOW TAKEN OFF MY 2006 4.3 V-6 1500 CHEVY 2WD. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL GM SENSOR, TRUCK HAS JUST UNDER 69,000 MILES. CODES ON HAND HELD SHOWED BAD BUT AFTER REPLACING WITH A LIFE TIME WARRANTY AFTERMARKET PART I FOUND THE CAT CONVERTERS WERE CLOGGED. REPLACED Y PIPE AND CAT SYSTEM, I THEN PUT THIS SENSOR BACK ON TRUCK AND RAN IT AND IT IS GOOD.

It seems more than likely. It would be very odd for Mazda to produce the Mazda2 in Thailand with a nose that matches the Mazda3, and then leave it alone for the rest of the world.
